Drunk youth kicks woman, creates ruckus on road in Kozhikode 

KOZHIKODE: The police have registered a case against a man who kicked a woman in the middle of the road. The incident happened on Saturday at 4 pm near the Thiruvambady Beverage Outlet. The police took action after the visuals of the incident emerged. The woman was kicked by Shihabuddeen of Thiruvambady. He was drunk at the time of the incident.

He first got into a verbal argument with one of the two women walking on the road. Amidst the argument, one of the women took off her slippers and tries to hit him. Seeing this, Shihabuddeen in a fit of rage kicked the woman on her back. CCTV footage of the incident had surfaced.

The visuals show him threatening the woman who got up from the fall. It is indicated that the two had a financial dispute. The woman has not filed a complaint in the incident. The police have registered a case for creating a ruckus in a public place after drunk.
