Excise sleuths seize 40 bottles of Indian-made foreign liquor, banned tobacco products in Thrithala

40 bottles of Indian-made foreign liquor and 360 packets of banned tobacco products were seized in Thirumittakode under the leadership of Thrithala Excise. During the inspection conducted by Assistant Excise Inspector S. Suresh and his team from the Thrithala Excise Range Office, it was found that the sale of drugs was based in a roadside stall at Arangottukara in Thirumittakode. A case was filed against Subramanian, a resident of Arangottukara, who managed to run away.

40 bottles of liquor, 360 prohibited tobacco products were found stored in a secret compartment at the back of the accused's house. Assistant Excise Inspector (Grade) S Sinju, Preventive Officer (Grade) VP Mahesh, Civil Excise Officer Frenet Francis, Arun P, Woman Civil Excise Officer Kavitha Rani and Civil Excise Officer Driver Anuraj participated in the raid.
