THRISSUR: The big brain behind drug trafficking in Kerala was arrested yesterday in a major operation by Thrissur police. The MDMA gang had sent money to an account, which was found to belong to 52-year-old Seema Sinha.
Seema was arrested in Haryana. Last February, Fazal and Nejil, residents of Chavakkad, were caught by the police with MDMA at the Thrissur railway station. Information about Seema Sinha was obtained from their interrogation. The police found that it was Seema Sinha who handed over the MDMA to them.
Seema, a tuition teacher, is a native of Patna in Bihar. She made transactions worth Rs 20 crore in the past two years. Seema used to make transactions through a Nigerian native. The police intensified their investigation to arrest him. A police team led by Thrissur ACP Salish N. Sankaran arrested Seema Sinha.
