Hate speech at Sabarimala protection summit; case filed against Sree Rama Dasa Mission President Shanthananda

PATHANAMTHITTA: Police have registered a case against Sree Rama Dasa Mission President Shanthananda for his hate speech at the Sabarimala protection summit held in Pandalam. The case was registered by the Pandalam police. The case was registered on the complaint of Congress spokesperson Anoop VR. The complaint is that he insulted Vavar Swamy and portrayed him as an attacker.

Shanthananda made the hate speech at the Sabarimala protection summit held in Pandalam as an alternative to the global Ayyappa Sangamam in Pampa. AR Pradeep Varma, a member of the Pandalam royal family and a member of the CPM area committee, has also filed a complaint with the police in this regard. The police have said that further action will be taken after investigating the speech. Meanwhile, the BJP has alleged that Pradeep Varma filed the complaint with political motives.
