Man hacks son to death in capital city, body found lying in pool of blood

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A man hacked his son to death in the capital city. The dead is Ullas (35) of Puthenveedu at Ulloorkonam in Karyavattom. The incident happened last night. Police believe that the two were in an inebriated condition. The police have arrested the accused identified as Unnikrishnan. He himself informed about the murder.

He first informed his wife Usha and then the police. Police found the body of Ullas lying in a pool of blood. Police said a dispute after intoxicated may have led to the murder. Pothencode police reached the spot and started an investigation.
