Man kills wife by hitting her head with gas cylinder in front of daughter

KOLLAM: A 54-year-old man killed his wife by hitting her head with a gas cylinder. The incident happened at Apollo Nagar in Karicode, Kollam. The dead identified as Kavitha (46) was attacked by her husband Madhusoodhanan Pillai (54) around 11 pm on Sunday in front of their daughter. The incident came to light when she, who was shocked by the brutal murder, went to a nearby house and informed it.

The neighbors immediately informed the police. He has been taken into custody and is being questioned. He told police that he is being treated for depression. Kavitha's body has been shifted to the hospital. Madhusoodhanan Pillai works as a middleman in cashew nut business. Family issues are cited to be the reason for the murder. h
