KOLLAM: Younger brother killed his elder brother by hitting him on the head with a piece of wood. The murdered is Joseph and Jacintha's son Anilkumar (45). The Eravipuram police arrested his brother Kenil (43) in the incident. It is reported that both siblings are mentally unstable.

The incident took place around 3 pm. Kenil hit Anilkumar on the head with a piece of wood lying in the yard during an argument. Although their mother Jacintha was at home, she did not see the fight. It was a girl from a nearby bus stop who saw the incident and called the locals. Anilkumar, who suffered a head injury and fell on the ground, bleeding profusely, was taken to the district hospital by the police, but could not be saved. Anilkumar and Kenil used to have frequent fights. They fought in the morning too. Their sister Sini came home in the afternoon and resolved the problem.

Kenil, who was previously a stonemason, now occasionally goes fishing in the sea. Kenil is separated from his wife and two children.

Anil Kumar, who was previously a sawmill worker, has not been going to work recently. Anil Kumar's wife, Catherine, is a caretaker abroad. Their eldest son, Aneesh, is also abroad. The younger son is Alan.
