THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The police have directed the employees to appear in the police station on the complaint of Diya Krishna against the financial fraud. The relatives of the women informed that they would appear today or tomorrow.

Diya had filed the complaint alleging that Vinitha, Divya and Radha Kumari, employees of her 'Oh by Ozy', had siphoned off Rs 69 lakh from her firm. The police had reached their homes twice yesterday to record their statements. The police will collect details of their bank transactions.

The police had also searched Diya's firm the other day. The employees said that Diya had asked them to receive money in their account to evade taxes and to withdraw money from the ATM and give it to her.

The employees had filed a complaint against Diya and her father and BJP leader Krishna Kumar, for kidnapping and threatening them and extorting money on the pretext of solving the financial fraud problem. Later, Diya and Krishna Kumar filed anticipatory bail pleas in the Thiruvananthapuram Principal Sessions Court.

The police have concluded that there is no truth on the employees’ complaint. The police had obtained CCTV footage of the women entering Diya Krishna's flat in two cars. Based on this, the investigating officers came to the conclusion that the complaint is baseless.
