RSS worker arrested for making obscene remarks against Indira Gandhi

PALAKKAD: An RSS worker who made obscene remarks about former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi on social media has been arrested. Unnikrishnan (57), a native of Mundamuka, Shoranur, was arrested by the Shoranur police. He made obscene remarks against Indira Gandhi through the Facebook account 'Unnikrishnan SRR Unni'. He shared the message on Facebook on May 16.

The message shared on social media was found by the police's cyber patrolling wing. The police then arrested him. The Shoranur police registered a case on its own. Unnikrishnan was remanded in custody by the court.
