Sale of ganja guarded by dogs; Robin George held

CHENNAI: The youth engaged in the sale of ganja after guarded by dogs at Kumaranalloor in Kottayam, has been taken into custody. The person in custody is Robin George (35) of Colony Thekkethundathil who was running a firm Delta K 9 near Kochalummoodu in Kumaranalloor. He was arrested from Tamil Nadu.

The police went to Tamil Nadu based on the hint got when interrogated Robin’s father. The police had earlier seized 17.8 kg of ganja kept in two bags from Robin's bedroom.
He grew thirteen dogs, including foreign breeds, to guard the sale of ganja. Robin trained the dogs to attack on seeing the police.


When seeing the police coming for a raid on September 25, he released the dogs and escaped by jumping over the wall. Following information of him hiding near Kudamaloor, the police reached the spot, but he escaped jumping into the river. Later many including his relatives were interrogated.
