'Stripped naked, abused after being tied down': Statement of woman abused in Thottipalam is out

KOZHIKODE: The statement of the student, who was allegedly abducted and abused at Thottipalam, has been completed. The girl testified that after the abuse, the accused threatened her and took nude pictures of her. As per the statement, the accused abducted her alone. The police had initially said that the accused would be arrested soon, but, as no further information was there about the accused, a look out notice was issued.

Yesterday, an intoxicated youth abducted the said graduate student of a college in Kozhikode, tied her naked inside a closed house and abused her. The Thotilpalam police rescued the student by breaking the lock of an uninhabited house in Kunduveedu. The girl underwent medical examination.

The police said the accused is addicted to drugs and they also found five grams of MDMA from his house. The youth abducted the student living in the college hostel on Wednesday. His house was found in an investigation centred around the mobile phone. When the police reached the house, the woman was found naked and tied inside a room.
