Teacher of Kannur University arrested for sexually abusing student

KANNUR: A teacher has been arrested for sexually abusing a student. The Dharmadam police have arrested K K Kunjahammed of Kuttiady. He is the head of the English Department of Kannur University's Palayad campus. The complaint says that he called the student to his chamber and a lodge in Thalassery and then abused her. He was produced in the court and remanded.
