Took ‘touchings’ of other table; youngsters clash in middle of road

PATHANAMTHITTA: A clash broke out between drunk youths in the middle of the road. The incident happened last night at 9.30 pm near the KSRTC bus stand in Pathanamthitta. A dispute over ‘touchings’ ended in the brawl.

A dispute over touchings taken from the wrong table ended in the clash. Shaiju, Arun and Shyam of Pathanamthitta were thrashed. Shiju P Jose, Abhilash and Shibu of Nannuvakadu beat the youths of the other group.

The employees of the bar later kicked them out from the bar. They later fought in the middle of the road. Two have been taken into custody in connection with the incident.
