Turning point in Balaramapuram kid’s murder case; Harikumar gives statement against Sreethu 

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: There is a turning point in the murder case of two-year-old girl by throwing her into a well in Balaramapuram. Harikumar, the accused and the child's uncle, changed his statement when the charge sheet in the case is about to be filed. Harikumar's new statement is that the girl’s mother Sreethu threw her into the well. With this, the police have decided to subject the accused to a lie detector test.

Harikumar gave his statement to the Rural SP who came to visit the jail. The earlier statement was that Harikumar killed the child by throwing her into the well. With his change of statement, the police have decided that the charge sheet need to be filed after a lie detector test. The case is that Harikumar killed the child when she became a hindrance to his illegal relationship with Sreethu.

The child was found dead in a well near the house on January 30. After conducting further investigation, the police confirmed that Harikumar was behind the murder. The police had questioned him several times. During interrogation, Harikumar revealed that he had thrown the child into the well and killed her.
