pocso

KANNUR: A turning point in the case of a ninth class student sexually abusing his classmate after giving drugs. The police arrested the girl's father in POCSO case. The girl had come forward through media with allegations against the 14-year-old boy. The reports that came in said the girl’s father forced her to level such an allegation.

The girl who revealed via media that her classmate sexually abused her, was not willing to divulge it to the police. The girl had alleged that apart from her, 11 more girls were sexually abused. However, the police said this could not be believed.

The authorities of the school where the girl is studying said the allegation is false. They informed that no other student has come forward with the complaint. The girl’s family came to Kannur eight months ago.

Meantime, the girl's mother, who was outside Kerala, reached Kannur the other day. Two years ago she had filed a complaint against her husband with the Khargar police in Maharashtra, alleging that he had sexually abused her daughter. A POCSO case was registered against him.
