Verbal dispute after drunk, youth hacked to death in Palakkad 

PALAKKAD: A youth was hacked to death in Attappadi. The dead is Manikandan (35) of Anakallu. Police said that it was Easwaran of Anakallu who killed Manikandan. The police also informed that the accused escaped after the murder.

The police clarified that there was a verbal dispute between the two and this resulted in the murder and that the accused was drunk. Police also said that an investigation has been intensified to find the accused.
