'Your father met with accident'; Apple smartwatch 'heroics' saves man's life

A person who met with an accident was slowly falling into unconsciousness. He tried to dial the emergency number, but fatigue and pain overpowered him. However, the Apple smartwatch he was wearing at the time of the incident tracked his health and immediately alerted emergency services, saving his life.

The smartwatch monitored his pulse and other vital signs. It immediately made an emergency call, relaying his precise GPS location to emergency services. The smartwatch also sent a message to his son's phone. "Your father has been in an accident. I have called an ambulance, and I have called you because he has your name on his emergency contact list," the message read.

By the time the son got to know about the incident, an ambulance had already arrived and taken his father to a nearby hospital. The X user who shared the post also shared a message at the end of the post, "This is a great example of how technology is not a curse, but a blessing. It all depends on how humans use it."
