Youths attack barber for questioning non-payment 

KOLLAM: In a fit of rage, a group of youths brutally attacked a barber in Ochira for questioning non-payment. An attack with a rock fractured the bones of the right palm of Shafeeq of Porookkara in Chavara. The Ochira police arrested Ajay (24) of Meenakshi Bhavan in Valiyakulangara and Insaf (25) of Oasis House in Payikuzhi.

Ajay, an accused in criminal cases has previously been charged under the KAPPA Act. The accused came to the barber shop at Mundukotta in Ochira and after the haircut, left the shop saying that money would be paid later. As the money was not paid even after days, he asked them money. In this enmity, the accused barged into the shop and attacked the barber.
