The majority opinion at the state committee meeting was to leave the LDF. Pillai said RJD announced candidates for three seats without accepting them.
He said a decision on contesting will be taken later. He mentioned having strong personal connections in Thiruvananthapuram, but not with the Left Front. There will be a convention of those who have left the party. Cannot promise that I will be in the race. I will think about it and decide. I am closer to Thiruvananthapuram Central constituency.
