KANNUR: Senior congress leader Ramesh Chennithala stepped forward replying to Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s statement of addressing congress leaders as womanizers. The chief minister's criticism was connected to the rape case of Rahul Mamkootathil MLA. Chennithala responded that the chief minister is blabbering after sitting on the harassment complaint against director and ex-MLA P T Kunju Muhammed for two weeks and asked him not to make him say more.
The chief minister's criticism was about the act of the womanizers in the congress party and if they justify sexual perverts by saying that they are well-drafted, the people will reject them. He responded when he came to cast his vote in Dharmadam this morning. Chennithala said the chief minister should first stop the womanizers in the CPM and then he can blabber.
‘The style of the CPM is giving high posts to womanizers. The chief minister, who sat on the complaint against P T Kunju Muhammed for two weeks, is saying all this. There is a limit to boasting. Let the court examine whether the second complaint against Rahul is politically motivated. The chief minister is protecting the sexual abusers. The chief minister has double standards. Why he is talking about someone who is no more in our party? The chief minister is saying that there are still complaints to come, is this about his own party members?
Don't make us say more. We know what Pinarayi Vijayan did when he was the party secretary. The chief minister himself is convinced that the K-Rail project will not materialize. That yellow stick should be uprooted at least now. It is not right to adopt the 'N Pillai' policy. If it is a member of his own party, the chief minister's style is to lock the complaint in a cupboard,' said Ramesh Chennithala.
