THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Amid the US-Iran-Israel conflict, gold prices in the state have fallen. A cut of Rs 300 per gram has been witnessed today. With this, the price of one sovereign of gold has touched Rs 1,24,520. The price of one gram of gold is Rs 15,565. The price of a sovereign rose by Rs 3,200 yesterday taking to Rs 1,26,920. Gold prices usually soar during war like situations. However, it is assessed that profit-taking in the international market and changes in the value of the dollar have caused the price to fall.

The price of silver has also dropped today. The price per gram is Rs 315 and Rs 3,15,000 per kilogram. The price of silver in Kerala is determined according to the international market. The fluctuations in the price of the rupee compared to the dollar will also affect the price of silver.

Meantime, the market is most concerned about the increase in crude oil prices. Oil prices are soaring. The fact that the dollar rate is rising and the value of the rupee is falling is also a crisis.
