KOCHI: While Eldhose Kunnappilly continues to be unhappy with being excluded from the Congress candidates list, UDF candidate Manoj Moothedan is actively campaigning in Perumbavoor. Moothedan said that he has been receiving very positive responses in the few hours since the candidate list was released last night. He added that he has a cordial relationship with Eldhose and has no dissatisfaction. Unconfirmed reports say that Eldhose was not ready to meet Manoj Moothedan, who went to persuade him after the announcement of the candidates. He was responding to questions from media in this regard.

‘I called Eldhose soon after my name was announced, but couldn't reach him. I straight went home, but before that, he had gone to eat. He didn't know about my arrival. It's not that he did it deliberately. We are good friends. Eldhose and I have been friends since 1996. I spoke to Eldhose four or five days ago regarding my candidacy. There is no personal dissatisfaction between the two of us. The displeasure is due to the confusion regarding my candidacy. I hope everything will be resolved,’ said Manoj Moothedan.

It has not yet been clarified what Eldhose Kunnappilly's next move will be. It is heard that a decision will be made today on whether to contest after talking to his close aides. Senior leaders are of the belief that Eldhose will not take a tough decision.
