‘I am a huge fan of Modi’; Actress Urmila Unni joins BJP

KOCHI: Dancer and actress Urmila Unni joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). She officially joined the party at a function held in Kochi. BJP leader A N Radhakrishnan welcomed the actress by draping a shawl. Famous producer G Suresh Kumar also attended the function.

Urmila Unni is active in the fields of dance, serials and cinema. Urmila is preparing to become more active in the socio-cultural field through her political entry. She later said that she is a huge fan of Narendra Modi. I am a BJP fan by heart. However, she added that she was not an active worker. Urmila Unni's entry into the party comes in the wake of the local body elections being held in the state.
