THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Opposition leader V D Satheesan said the home department and the government systems have deteriorated into a mafia group that provides protection to criminals. Two cops were attacked in the state yesterday. While a policeman was attacked by SFI’s criminal group at a shopping mall in Thiruvananthapuram, another policeman was stabbed and injured in broad daylight in Kozhikode by a criminal. He added that one should remember that the same Pinarayi Vijayan, who was glorified up by P R agencies ‘as walking among sticks and double-hearted’, is still the home minister of Kerala.
The video released by the media shows SFI activists following and provoking the policeman at a shopping mall in Thiruvananthapuram, surrounding him and beating him. Yet, a non-bailable section was imposed and case filed against the policeman, who was roughed up. His sister, who was with him, was also arraigned. The case is that both attacked them with weapons. Meantime, only trivial charges against the SFI gang that followed and attacked. No arrests. What kind of justice is this? This is not the first incident where Pinarayi Vijayan, who is sitting in the chair of the home minister, has brought together his own people and the CPM criminal gangs.
The state is being ruled by a gang that stole Ayyappan's gold. The party that implements the brutal justice of protecting leaders jailed for gold theft and expelling the person who pointed out the fraud in the martyrs' fund, is leading the administration.
Everything that happened in the last days of the CPM rule in West Bengal, where the CPM ruled for decades, is being repeated in Kerala. The people will definitely end this rule that nurtures, protects and plunders criminals. He clarified that the government and the CPM should not forget that Kerala is waiting for it.
