18-year-old missing after being swept away by waves

KASARGOD: An 18-year-old, who came with his family to spend vacation at Kundukolake beach in Manjewswaram, went missing in the waves. Muhammed Sainul Aabid, son of Umarul Farooq of Chowki in Manjeswaram and Raseena, went missing last evening.

Aabid, who was playing on the beach, was swept away by an unexpected wave. Locals, Manjeswaram police and members of the Coast Guard immediately launched a search, but were unable to find him. The search is still continuing.
