THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala Kaumudi Editorial Advisor and senior journalist V. Sasidharan passed away. He was 81 years old. He had been unwell for a few months and passed away at his residence in Chacka Kalpaka Nagar on Friday at 6:15 pm. The late V. Sasidharan was one of the prominent editorial heads of Kerala Kaumudi.
He joined Kerala Kaumudi in 1966 after completing his studies at Maharaja's College, Ernakulam. He joined Kerala Kaumudi during the tenure of editor K Sukumaran. He has served as the Chief News Editor and Associate Editor of Kerala Kaumudi. He was working as the newspaper's Leader Writer when he passed.
V Sasidharan has reported on many national and international news stories, including the Asian Games held in New Delhi in 1982.
His wife is Prema Kumari Amma. Son Krishna Kumar and daughter-in-law Devika L (both working in Ernest and Young, Thiruvananthapuram).
Daughter Resmi Sasidharan works at Federal Bank Vattappara, Thiruvananthapuram. Her husband Jayakrishnan B is an Engineer at All India Radio, Nagercoil.
