'Acquire land; we have a PM with guts to implement development'

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Union Minister Suresh Gopi said not only individuals winning elections should come forward with development works. The people will benefit when both the winners and the losers work together, he said at the inaugural function of the renovated Chirayinkeezhu Railway Station as part of the Amrit Bharat Station project.

'I am happy to know that the development that has taken place in the last ten years is motivating the MLA and the MP. If more development works are needed in Chirayinkeezhu, the Prime Minister and the Railway Minister will be informed and then implemented. There is a situation where other local trains have to be held while Vande Bharat trains are running. The solution to avoid it is to double the track. We have a Prime Minister who has the guts to implement development if the land is acquired and given,' said Suresh Gopi.

Suresh Gopi honored the brave soldiers who served the country. Adoor Prakash MP, V Sasi MLA and others were present at the function.
