
ALAPPUZHA: Yesteryear actor and film activist Aman Navodaya passed away early Sunday morning in Alappuzha. He was 82. In addition to acting, he had also worked as art director, still photographer, makeup artist and costume designer. He was regularly seen in films of Udaya and Navodaya.
He started his career as an assistant to the makeup artist in Uday. He did some work including script copying in early days. After the death of Kunchacko, when Appachan started Navodaya Studio, Aman also joined him. Aman was one among Sibi Malayil, Jijo Punnoose and Fazil who interviewed Mohanlal for the film 'Manjil Virinja Pookkal'.
He lived in Fathima Cottage in Lajanath Ward, Alappuzha. He leaves behind his wife Haleema Beevi and children: Siraj Aman, Ajeeb Aman, Haleena Aman and in-laws Shermin Siraj, Sabina Ajeeb and Anwar Hussain.
