Actress Minu Muneer arrested in case of defaming Balachandra Menon

KOCHI: Actress Minu Muneer has been arrested in the case of defaming director and actor Balachandra Menon on social media. She was arrested by the Kochi Infopark Cyber Police. She was released on bail after registering her arrest.

Meantime, the court had ended the proceedings in the case related to the complaint filed by Minu Muneer against Balachandra Menon. As part of this, the court issued a notice to the complainant actress. The police submitted the final report stating that there was no evidence for the allegations against Balachandra Menon. Her complaint was that she was sexually assaulted at a hotel in Thiruvananthapuram during the shoot of a film.
