THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CPM central committee member E P Jayarajan has strongly criticized D C Books in connection with the autobiography controversy. While talking to the media, he clarified that no contract and no copy were given to anyone.

'There are normal procedures that publishers should follow, but here no procedures were followed. No publishing contract was given. DC announced the release while I am still working on the book. The release of the book which I was writing came on DC Books' Facebook page. How did it come without my knowledge? This is a deliberate act. Gave it in PDF form on WhatsApp. This is something that a publisher should not normally do. Won't sales decrease if it comes through WhatsApp? This is completely a planned act.

This news was published on the morning of the election day. The news first came in the national media. There is a planned move behind this. On what basis did this national media give the news? The news that E P Jayarajan had conspired with Javadekar came during the Lok Sabha elections. In early 2003, Javadekar came to my place on his way to meet me. He said that he used to meet all politicians. He said that he had met Kunhalikutty, V D Satheesan and Ramesh Chennithala. He left after five minutes. The news was deliberately spread at that time to disrupt the elections. I am being attacked inside and outside the party. It is being repeated now.
