Beware while going out; atmosphere in Kerala to change widely, seven districts on alert

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has informed that there is a possibility of rain in Kerala for the next four days. Yellow alert has been issued in Alappuzha, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Kannur and Kasaragod. The possibility of isolated heavy rain has been predicted. Heavy rain is defined as a situation where 64.5 mm to 115.5 mm of rain is received in 24 hours.

Fishermen cautioned
The IMD has informed that fishing should not be done on the Kerala-Karnataka - Lakshadweep coasts today (04/06/2025). There is a possibility of strong winds and bad weather with a speed of 35 to 45 kmph and at times up to 55 kmph along the Kerala-Karnataka-Lakshadweep coasts today.
