BJP's decisive move ahead of elections; Twenty20 joins NDA

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: KITEX Group Chairman Sabu M Jacob's Twenty20 party has joined the NDA. This was announced at the press meet convened in the presence of BJP state president Rajeev Chandrasekhar and state general secretary S Suresh. Sabu M Jacob had earlier referred to the BJP government as a development government. He also clarified that it is a government with a development perspective. Twenty20 is presently ruling four grama panchayats. It is in the opposition post in two grama panchayats. It has 89 people's representatives.

Although it swept Aikaranad in the local body elections, Twenty20 faced a setback in Kizhakkambalam. Moreover, it lost the governance of Kunnathunad and Mazhuvannoor, which were in power. There is a strong presence in Thiruvaniyoor.

Rajeev Chandrasekhar said that he is happy that Twenty20 is part of the NDA. They will officially become a part of the NDA in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi Tomorrow. Rajeev Chandrasekhar also asked Sabu M Jacob to continue creating jobs.

Sabu M Jacob said that this is a very crucial decision for the party and it was taken after careful consideration. 'I came into politics after seeing how the LDF and UDF ruled Kerala alternately and destroyed the state, and formed the party Twenty20. For 14 years, exemplary things have been implemented for the development of Kerala. There was concern about how practical it would be if stood alone in our efforts to change Kerala. Twenty20 has grown into an indestructible party. We must show how we will change Kerala in front of those who wanted to eliminate us. It is a well-considered decision to take on the mission of changing Kerala while adhering to the development vision of the NDA,' clarified Sabu M Jacob
