
KANNUR: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan cast his vote at the first booth of Cherikkal Junior Basic School in Pinarayi at 8 am on Thursday. Pinarayi’s wife Kamala, daughter Veena Vijayan and son Vivek Kiran were also present. After casting his vote, the Chief Minister left the booth, greeted those who had come to cast their votes, and returned after a short while.
Novelist T Padmanabhan cast his vote at Ramatheru Voice English Medium School in Corporation 7th Division. Speaker A.N. Shamseer also cast his vote at Punnole LP School in Thalassery Municipality.
