Chief Minister with family in Pinarayi to cast vote; Speaker Shamseer among others in queue

KANNUR: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan cast his vote at the first booth of Cherikkal Junior Basic School in Pinarayi at 8 am on Thursday. Pinarayi’s wife Kamala, daughter Veena Vijayan and son Vivek Kiran were also present. After casting his vote, the Chief Minister left the booth, greeted those who had come to cast their votes, and returned after a short while.

Novelist T Padmanabhan cast his vote at Ramatheru Voice English Medium School in Corporation 7th Division. Speaker A.N. Shamseer also cast his vote at Punnole LP School in Thalassery Municipality.

Shamseer cast his vote at Punnole Aided LP School at 9 am, after waiting in the queue with his brother and sister-in-law.

Ministers Ramachandran Kadannappally Kandonthar cast his vote at Cheruvancheri LP School, and A.K. Saseendran at Chovva Dharmasamajam UP School. T.I. Madhusoodanan MLA cast his vote at Mavicheri Anganwadi booth in Ward 21 of Payyannur Municipality, Irikkur MLA Sajeev Joseph cast his vote at Vayathur UPS, KPCC President Sunny Joseph MLA cast his vote at St. John's Baptist English Medium High School in Ward 14 of Payam Panchayat, Kadathumkadavu, and K.P. Mohanan MLA cast his vote at Booth No. 1 of Islam Hayathul Madrasa in Puthur.

CPI National Secretary Adv.P.Santosh Kumar cast his vote at MP Edachovva Thunchathacharya School, and former MP Panniyan Raveendran cast his vote at Kakkad North UP School. CPM Central Committee members P.K.Sreemathy cast their vote at Cheruthazham South Gov.LP School, and E.P.Jayarajan cast their vote at Aroli Gov.Higher Secondary School. State Secretariat member M.V.Jayarajan cast his vote at Peralassery A.K.G. Memorial Gov.Higher Secondary School.
