Chief Minister's Malappuram remarks; Governor summons Chief Secretary and DGP to Raj Bhavan

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Governor Arif Mohammad Khan has summoned the chief secretary and the DGP to the Raj Bhavan seeking an explanation on the chief minister's Malappuram remarks. The Governor has asked them to come in person and give an explanation on the chief minister's remarks. They have been directed to reach Raj Bhavan at 4 pm tomorrow.

They should explain the Malappuram gold smuggling and hawala cases and who are the anti-national forces involved. The governor also asked them to explain why he was not informed despite knowing this information. The governor had sought a report on both the issues but the government did not provide it. The governor has instructed them to come in person following this.
