PATHANAMTHITTA: State Police Chief Ravada Chandrashekhar responded to the incident of the wheels of the helicopter carrying President Droupadi Murmu, getting stuck in the concrete at Pramadam. While talking to a media, he said there was no security lapse in the President's visit.

The helipad was prepared very late. Arrangements were made in advance to land. The helicopter landed five feet away from the designated spot. It landed on an area where the concrete was not fully set. The helicopter then could not move forward. With this, the helicopter was pushed to the previously designated landing spot. He said there were no issues with the helicopter or the President's landing.

The helipad was prepared and concreted by the PWD. The PWD informed that the helipad was prepared at the location suggested by the Air Force personnel. The spot was concreted late at night. The PWD also clarified that all the work was completed in the presence of the Air Force personnel.
