
KOCHI: The mortal remains of actor Sreenivasan were brought to Ernakulam town hall for the public to pay homage. The body will be kept at the Ernakulam Town Hall for public viewing from 1 pm to 3 pm. The final rites will be held with state honours. Many people, including prominent figures from the film industry and the public, have expressed their condolences on Sreenivasan's demise.
Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan paid last respects to the actor after arriving at the town hall on Saturday afternoon.
Actor Mammootty and his wife reached the residence to pay their last respects to the veteran Malayalam actor. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan is expected to reach the place soon.
Emotions poured in when Dhyan Sreenivasan reached the residence after learning about his father’s death. Dhyan, who took a seat near his mother, was inconsolable.
“A man who saw cinema differently. A man who saw life differently. We had an emotional connection. Forty years of friendship,” Responded Mohanlal.
“Amazing actor and my classmate. Still in disbelief over the death news,” said actor Rajinikanth.
