'Dileep will clear all allegations against him and rise like sun'; prominent actor extends support to Dileep

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Actor Mahesh has said that he still does not believe actor Dileep is guilty in the actress assault case, in which Dileep is an accused. Mahesh added that he expects Dileep to be acquitted in the case. His response came soon after reports emerged that the court would pronounce the verdict on December 8.

“I strongly believe that Dileep will rise like the morning sun, clearing all allegations against him. I still don’t think Dileep committed this crime. The assaulted actress must get justice too. I have said earlier as well that I cannot even imagine Dileep being behind this, and I still believe the same. Even after the verdict, the case may reach higher courts. If he is acquitted here, that itself will be a big relief.”

Mahesh said the case has faced many challenges over the years, even reaching the Supreme Court. “Despite everything, the case has moved forward for so many years. Both the assaulted actress and Dileep must get justice. There is no doubt that the actress was attacked. I only believe that Dileep is not the one responsible. The real culprits should be punished. The actual masterminds behind this have not yet been exposed. A terrible incident happened to the actress, and those responsible must be punished. But innocent people should not be punished,” Mahesh said.
