Employee at Cooperative Bank found hanging inside conference hall

KOCHI: A temporary employee of a cooperative bank was found dead inside the office on Wednesday. Kurichilakode native Aswathy (30), a temporary employee of the Janasevana Kendra, a part of the Perumbavoor Koovappady Service Cooperative Bank, was found hanging inside the conference hall on Wednesday. The incident took place around 4 pm today.

Financial obligations are believed to be behind the decision to end life. Kodanad police started an investigation into the incident. The body was shifted to the morgue of a private hospital in Perumbavoor.
