Five fishermen from Kochi missing after venturing out for fishing; search underway

KOCHI: Five fishermen from Chellanam, Kochi, have gone missing at sea. They were on a single-engine boat named Immanuel with the registration number KL03 4798. All those on board were natives of Chellanam Kandakkadavu. The group went fishing at around 4 am on Friday and was expected to return by 9 am. The missing fishermen are Sebin, Panchi, Kunjumon, Prince and Antappan. The Coast Guard and the Navy have launched a search operation to locate them.
