Food entered lungs while sneezing; Karthik Surya falls unconscious

Renowned vlogger and television anchor Karthik Surya has shared a shocking experience where his health condition became critical after he sneezed while having food. Karthik said that his health deteriorated after food particles entered his lungs due to the force of the sneeze. He also said that he fell unconscious soon after sneezing.

"I sneezed while having food at night. There was food in my mouth. When I opened my eyes later, I saw Varsha rubbing my back in an attempt to make me vomit the food," Karthik said.

Karthik's wife Varsha said that her husband sneezed three times while having food, and that by the time she brought water from the kitchen, she saw him lying on the floor unconscious. "I got scared. When I tried to hold him, he collapsed onto me. He was not responding. I then immediately called two men from the neighbourhood. By the time they arrived, Karthik chettan was very weak, and his hands were shivering. He started vomiting when they pressed his chest. He vomited several times. He was unconscious," Varsha said.

Karthik was immediately rushed to the hospital. After examination, it was found that food particles had entered his lungs, which stopped oxygen from reaching his brain and caused him to collapse. Karthik said that severe vomiting caused a tear in his throat and blood started coming from his mouth. He said he is still feeling weak from the incident. Karthik also thanked and appreciated his wife for acting bravely in such a situation.
