Hybrid cannabis case against movie directors; director cinematographer Sameer Thahir arrested

KOCHI: Director and cinematographer Sameer Thahir arrested in the hybrid cannabis case against Malayalam movie directors. Sameer Thahir was issued a notice to appear for questioning in the case. After questioning, his arrest was recorded and he was released on station bail.

Directors Khalid Rehman and Ashraf Hamza were arrested in the hybrid cannabis case from a flat under Sameer Thahir's name. Sameer Thahir was questioned today in this case. Following this, a case was registered and he was arrested. Sameer Thahir has stated that he rented the flat seven years ago and that he did not know whether Khalid Rehman and Ashraf Hamza had brought or used drugs.
