Janayugam bureau chief Reshmi to be laid to rest today

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The funeral rites of P S Reshmi (38), bureau chief of Janayugam, who died yesterday, will be held today. The funeral rites will be held at the premises of her house in Erattupetta at 3 pm today.

Reshmi is the daughter of P N Sukumaran Nair of Thidanadu Puthuparambu at Erattupetta in Kottayam and Indira Devi. Her husband Deepa Prasad is a photographer of Times of India. The incident happed when Rashmi came home to celebrate Onam with her parents. She was taken to a private hospital in Erattupetta after she developed uneasiness, but her life could not be saved. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, Minister V Sivankutty, CPM state secretary M V Govindan and others paid their condolences on her demise.
