
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The final voter list for the Kerala assembly elections has been published. The list was published after the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process was completed. About nine lakh people were left out of the voter list of October 2025. There were 2.78 crore voters in the list published in October. The final list released today, including the SIR hearing, has a total of 2,69,53,644 voters. Of these, 1,31,26,048 are male and 1,38,27,319 are female. Transgender voters - 27, non-resident voters - 2,23,558, service voters - 54,110. There are 4,24,518 voters in the age group of 18-19 and 2,04,608 voters above the age of 85.
More information can be checked through the website https://electoralsearch.eci.gov.in. One can check using their voter ID, relative's name, phone number, date of birth or age.
As part of the SIR, 24.08 lakh people were excluded in the draft list published on December 23. After the draft was published, 53,229 more people were excluded through hearings. However, 15,11,292 people were added. In the last Lok Sabha elections, there were 2,77,49,159 voters.
