KSRTC officials hand over concession card to Premanan’s daughter

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Daughter of Premanan, who was roughed up by KSRTC employees at Kattakkada, has finally got a concession card. The KSRTC officials reached her house and handed over the concession card to her. Premanan was attacked by the KSRTC employees amidst a dispute related to the concession card.

The employees asked her to produce the course certificate to issue the concession. When Premanan said that they don’t have it now, a dispute broke out and ended in the attack. Premanan filed a complaint with the police. The police have not yet been able to arrest the five accused in the case. The court will consider today the anticipatory bail pleas of the accused. The defendants in the bail plea claimed that Premanan, who was roughed up, is a regular troublemaker. They also said the video was filmed and given to the media deliberately causing trouble. The accused also alleged that the police framed a non-bailable charge of sexual harassment against them to satisfy the media.

Premanan along with his daughter Reshma and her friend reached Kattakada depot on September 20 to renew his daughter's concession. A dispute broke out with the KSRTC employees and Reshma and Premanan were attacked.
