Locals including women manhandle K P Mohanan MLA over garbage issue

KANNUR: The locals manhandled Koothuparamba MLA K P Mohanan. The locals were angered for not finding a solution to the garbage issue related to Thanal dialysis center at Peringathur Kariyad. The MLA was manhandled by many including women.

The MLA had come to inaugurate an Anganwadi. A dialysis center has been functioning in the area for years. People are facing a lot of difficulties in releasing waste from here. The locals said the MLA did not consider this difficulty of the people properly.

When the locals were trying to convey about it, the MLA tried to go to the inauguration site. Angry protesters pushed the MLA and an altercation broke out. The video of this is being circulated on social media.
