Logo of 61st Kerala State School Kalolsavam released, event to be held in Kozhikode

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The logo of Kerala State School Kalolsavam has been released. Minister for General Education V Sivankutty has handed over the logo to Minister PA Muhammad Riyas. The Kalolsavam is being held in Kozhikode from January 3 -7, 2023. In the event held in Assembly Media room, Minister for Ports Ahammad Devarkovil, MLAs T.P. Ramakrishnan, Sachin Dev, K.P. Kunhammed Kutty, Tothathil Raveendran, PTA Rahim, K.K. Rama, Principal Secretary of General Education Department APM Muhammad Hanish and General Education Director Jeevan Babu K were also present.

The State School Kalolsavam is being held after two years due to Covid. The last Kalolsavam was held in Kasaragod in 2019. Around 14,000 contestants from higher secondary and high school categories will participate in 239 events in 24 venues. There are 96 events in the high school category, 105 events in the higher secondary category, 19 events in the Sanskrit Kalolsavam and 19 events in the Arabic Kalolsavam.

The logo designed by Thiruvananthapuram Karakulam native Mohammed Rasheed was selected from the list of 26 logos.
