Lorry gets stuck in Thamarassery Pass, transportation likely to worsen

KOZHIKODE: There is traffic congestion today after a lorry got stuck at the Thamarassery Pass. The lorry got stuck at around 2 am Wednesday due to a mechanical failure. Following this, there was traffic congestion. Lorries had been stuck at six and seven bends in the past few days. This is the third time in a week that a lorry is getting stuck and causing traffic congestion.

The lorry has not been able to move from the spot. The members of the churam samrakshana samithi and the highway police have reached the spot. Efforts are being made to allow vehicles to pass through one area. If more vehicles start coming, the traffic congestion is likely to worsen.
