Massive fire in Kollam; four houses gutted, efforts underway to douse fire

KOLLAM: A massive fire has broken out at Altharamoodu in Thangassery, Kollam. As per the latest reports, four houses were completely gutted in the fire. The Fire Force team is trying to prevent the fire from spreading to other buildings. The initial finding is that the fire was caused by a gas cylinder explosion. The explosion caused the flames to spread quickly to nearby houses. Firefighters reached the spot immediately and are continuing their efforts to bring the fire under control. There are no reports of any casualties.
