Minister Sivankutty wants to eliminate concept of backbenchers from school classrooms

The concept of everyone being in the front row without front benches or back benches, or the new method of teaching students in a semi-circle, also made headlines through this film. This method was also followed by a school in Tamil Nadu, which widely discussed.

Education Minister V Sivankutty now says that he wants to eliminate the concept of backbenchers from school classrooms. He informed this through his Facebook post. No child should be left behind in studies or life. He also penned that our goal is to ensure equal opportunities for all children.

Many countries are following different models to eliminate the concept of backbenchers. It has been decided to appoint a committee of experts to find the best model suitable for our education system. Let us move forward after considering the suggestions of this committee. We seek all your support for the better future of our children.

The minister had recently informed that he was initiating a public discussion on shifting the school vacation in Kerala from April and May to June and July, months of heavy rainfall. Sivankutty announced this through his Facebook post. This turned a big discussion in Kerala.
