Mohanlal to be chief guest at closing function of State School Kalotsavam

THRISSUR: Minister K Rajan, who is also the chairman of the organizing committee, has informed that actor Mohanlal will be the chief guest at the closing function of the 64th State School Kalolsavam. The closing ceremony will begin at 4 pm on January 18. The organizers announced that the gold cup will be distributed to the winners of the Kalolsavam and awards will be given to the best journos at the closing ceremony.

Thrissur is hosting the school kalosavam after eight years. The competition is being held in 25 venues. 15,000 students are competing in 249 competition events. There are 96 items in the high school category, 105 in the higher secondary category, 19 in the Samskritholsavam and 19 in the Arabic festival. The organizers said the time has been arranged in a way that the competitors face no difficulties and enjoyment for the spectators.
